BNR Wastegate Actuator for your TD025 and hybrid variant turbochargers. Fits stock and upgraded stock frame turbochargers on the Gen 2 Cruze LE2. Does not fit stock turbo on Malibu 1.5T but can be used if you swap that turbo for our TD025R/X/S Hybrid. Does fit Equinox 1.5T. Includes 2 different size turnbuckles to ensure proper fit without drilling or modifying the stock wastegate arm. Uses a metal piston design instead of rubber diaphragm.

The stock wastegate actuator is super weak from factory on 95% of Cruzes. This is why even with a tune for 20+PSI of boost, you see a lot less. This is also why you see P0299 on most tuned Cruzes if it hasn't been disabled. Changing to this actuator will fix that problem and let your turbo make full boost. On some cars this will be a 10HP upgrade. OIn cars with weak stock actuators this could add as much as 40-50HP.

The amount of preload is adjustable simply by tightening or loosening the actuator rod. We recommend starting with one and a half turns of preload and testing your boost from there. Once you've determined where the boost is sitting, you can decide to go tighter or leave it alone. Too much boost will trigger an over-boost condition on the ECU and put the car into "limp home" mode, where you will lose all boost. This likely means you have tightened it too much, and need to loosen the rod some.

It's hard to say an exact power number as the stock actuator could hold anywhere from 15-23psi depending on the one GM used on your car. If your car is holding 20psi with the stock actuator, this will add anywhere from 10-20HP. If your car makes 15psi on a tune, this will add as high as 50HP to your car.

Honestly Surprised

I'm not much of a reviewer and I wasn't expecting much. After removing my stock actuator with 83k miles, I found that the hole was oval shaped instead of round. Guess that explains why the car was feeling lazy and why boost would jump around. Now boost quickly comes on and doesn't bounce back and forth.

Beast mode

This wastegate actuator is hands down my favorite mod. I absolutely love the extra power it gives to my car. You wouldn't believe me if told you that this makes the car feel like a V6. Buy this wastegate and it'll change your daily driver experience. It puts your Cruze into beast mode. I highly recommend it. ??????????
